I have finished my first pair of socks for Sock Wars! I'll be sending them to my victim tomorrow! I used an absolutely luscious yarn - something Debbie Bliss - wool, cotton and viscose blend. I am going to have to make another pair or more of these - they're delicious!

I don't know if my victim has received her or not. I mailed them Monday, but there is no response. She has not signed in to the participants page (as required) and her blog has not been updated since Aug 20th. That was way before this started and she is very silent.
On the other side, the person that is to kill me is also not on the participants page and she has not responded to two direct e-mails I sent. Very strange......
Oh.... what beautiful socks..... I will hold my hands up and surrender now - the war is over between Cat and I... I will be dead soon but my oh my.... what lovely socks I am getting :-)

Wow! I totally love these socks! The pattern is amazing, and so is the yarn you've been using, it looks so soft and cozy - and the color rocks! Fantastic job - and yay for Sock Wars!
