Knitting Update

I've started working on a hat, just on a whim, to try some two-color work. I love it! I have to concentrate when I'm knitting so I can keep track of where I am in the chart, but it's really fun to see the pattern emerge, and I think I've finally got the idea of how to keep the strands going along the back. There is a broad cuff on this, and then you turn the work and do the body of it. I like it so far!

This is the sock I'm working on, when I don't have the ability to concentrate as closely as I need to for that hat.

And then there is this little red hat I made for Dulaan.

These are the roses from the bush in my front garden. Sorry the photo is so out of focus. I think my own vision is off this morning. Hmm, if that's the case, maybe it really is in focus and my own world is off?

Beautiful! I'm itching to do two color knitting too. But who knows when that will happen. Great work!
