List #6: LEAST FAVORITE WORDS

This is tricky because I know a lot of words, but here goes:

• racial derogatives
• words spewed out simply to hurt someone else
• "beginning" because I lost my classroom spelling bee on this word in 4th grade
• "never" because it seems so final and hopeless
• some of the dirty words. I have to admit that I find some comfort in cussing at times, but there are a few words that I find just too vulgar and nasty to use. I won't list them here, either.
• shut-up
• stupid
• words that adults use to control children instead of actually talking to them
• lazy
